Silly For A Cause

Not all my silly whims are frivolous.  I actually have a career doing special events and fundraising for nonprofits.   I currently work as the Special Events Manager for our local Alzheimer's Association planning their Walk To End Alzheimer's event.  When we recently moved to a new office and hosted a ribbon cutting party, I took it as an opportunity to bring my silly whims to work and decked out my office.  As you can see, I may have gone a wee bit overboard with the logo usage . . .

To learn more about the Alzheimer's Association and Walk To End Alzheimer's, watch the videos below or visit to find a Walk near you.

  1. I am currently hosting a fundraiser for Alzheimers. I love the feet and water bottle covers. Where did you find those? please would you email me back at:

    1. Hi Debbie. I just emailed you with more information. The feet are part of the Walk To End Alzheimer's "Team Captain Guide". Your local Walk Manager should be able to get them for you (in addition to other fundraising tools and decorations). The footprints are a file with the images that you can print at home, Kinkos, etc. The water bottle labels I made myself. I wish I could send you the file for the labels, but I no longer have it. Shoot, sorry! If I can somehow retrieve or recreate it, I will email it to you. Thanks and good luck with your fundraiser. Such an important cause!
